Tasting Notes

Nose: A sweet aroma with pleasant agave notes.

Palate: Sweet, subtle agave flavour with hints of oak and vanilla.

Finish: Well-balanced, short and smooth.

At Mr. Chow’s we keep Cuervo for margarita nights, because the sweet agave and light oak sit easily behind the lime.

How It Differs

Jose Cuervo Especial Silver is a double-distilled blended tequila with a crisp, clean, subtle agave flavour. The gold Especial blends in reposado, which gives it the light gold colour and the hints of oak and vanilla.

How to Serve

Cuervo recommends Especial for margaritas, frozen or on the rocks. It also pours simply over ice.

Ideal for: margarita nights and house parties.

Pairs with: our picks are Chinese-Malaysian salt and pepper squid, Indian-Malaysian tandoori chicken and Malay chicken satay.
